Our adulting and parenting services are developed and delivered by William (Bill) Shackelford.
Bill had an amazing 30-year career as a corporate trainer and speaker – where he trained over 10,000 public and private sector employees. Bill got his start in the adulting and parenting arena with the publication of his book Growing Into Your Parenting Role in 2019. In 2020 he leveraged his career experiences and his passion for adulting and parenting issues to create the AP Academy. Since then, he has blogged extensively on the topic, served as the featured guest on parenting webinars, conducted exciting and informative webinars, provided skills-based training to young adults and parents, and hosts the podcast Raising Kids / Growing Parents.

Personal Growth Boot Camp
The boot camp lays a solid foundation for your transition into adulthood and parenthood. It includes self-paced online modules and dynamic group interactions covering the four building blocks of successful relationships: Reflection, Planning, Selection, and Trust.
